The Infusil Group of Companies was founded by the Founder / Director Late Mr.H.L.N.Murthy, a renowned glass technologist of the country in the year 1973.

Mr.H.L.N.Murthy during his illustrious career had been associated with several leading scientists like Sir.C.V.Raman, Homi Jehangir Bhabha, Prof.M.G.K.Menon and Dr.Vikram Sarabai.
Mr.H.L.N. Murthy was the Father of Scientific Glassblowing in India. With his exhaustive training and experience in foreign glass companies laid the foundation for Infusil Group of Companies in the year 1973 under the name M/S Modern Instruments.

The Infusil Group was later actively promoted by Late Mrs. H.N.Kamala wife of Late Mr. H.L.N.Murthy and Late Mrs.Vijaya Ravi wife of Mr.H.N.Ravi who was the Executive Director and Director International Sales for Infusil group of Companies. It was she who laid the foundation for Exports.
